DOORS 9.6 with 32-bit OLE objects?

We are looking at upgrading to DOORS 9.6 (from 9.4) and have some inhouse integration with several tools.   The tools themselves provide 32-bit controls to OLE automation.

Any issues with compatibility as I haven't found anything online or in the docs?

I am looking into my crystal ball and I see no problems.

But why take the crystal ball view of the world -- only way to know on homegrown is to test, test & yet some test

The magic eight ball (tm) says...

True but I wanted to post to see if anyone has run into this already as we are in the early stages of the upgrade planning.   Because we run in a strongly controlled desktop/server environment it always isn't easy to debug or try this/that/the-other....

I have done that in the previous company that I have worked for, and there were no issues whatsoever. In actual fact DOORS 9.6 has some fixes that are highly beneficial.

Also the use of 64 bit allows you to use more memory than the 2GB limit in 32 bit which is useful for exports etc.
